And Bryce is the winner of Guess the Animal. Although, who knew you could get picture books in SA with NUMBATS in them!! Bryce gets to come and visit Cameron on holiday and teach him about lions and meerkats and aardvarke. Next weirdo animal to follow soon... like the lesser spotted immigrant.

Only moving to the 'burbs next weekend. Will be a bit sparse 'til our container arrives. Hiring a few essentials like a washing machine, TV and couch (from "RentalsRus" no less). Will buy a few bits and bobs to see us through until then too.
From our flat we have a view of South Terrace. A road that runs into Fremantle lined with coffee shops and family run restaurants, quirky gift shops and art galleries. Very laid back. Been people watching as they walk their dogs and cycle up and down, stopping to have coffee and sit at the sidewalk tables.
Nice little Italian we can maybe go to for dinner on Friday night.
Over near the harbour are the seafood restaurants and in the centre of Freo lots of bars, cafes and more restaurants & clubs.
(Will take you to the Mussel Bar for lunch, Ma.)
On the map below you can see where Fremantle (or Freo as the locals call it) is in relation to Perth city itself. About 20ks...ish.
