Milestones.

So, so far I can sit more or less unaided for varying amounts of time. I'm eating like a Trojan. At the moment I'm quite fascinated by labels on things. And I can blow rasberries. I also pull funny faces but those are yet to be captured on film.

I still do not do that sleeping through the night thing. No teeth, no crawling.

You'll be the first to know.

Sunday Outing to Perth's Cultural Centre and Chinatown, Northbridge

We took a casual Sunday outing to the Northbridge part of town where you can find a mix of museums (Perth Cultural Centre), pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants (Italian, Indian, Greek, Seafood etc), Chinatown and interesting "retro" clothing shops.

The Cultural Centre in Perth is a pedestrian walkway from the train station concourse linking both ends of the James Street Mall, Francis Street and Beaufort Street. The State Library, Western Australian Museum, The Art Gallery and PICA all lead onto the Cultural Centre precinct.

Visit the museums or take a wander down James St/William St/Francis St/Lake St and scout out cafes, bars or restaurants amidst Chinatown. It seems they queue up on Sundays for Dim Sum so get there early!

Took in the "Earth from Above" outdoor photography exhibition. Awesome pics. (All aerial photo's shot from a helicopter fm between 30 to 3000 metres).

Stopped at the Elephant & Wheelbarrow for a drink on there shady verandah and huge plate of chips for $7... (no dim sum today!)

Check out this map of all the restaurants and other haunts (mostly Chinese) in Northbridge:

All this is very handily located next to the Perth Train Station too altho' various car Parks abound in the area.
Enjoy!
See my awesome pics. Complete with greay thumbprint on lens...

On the home front...

When Dad gets home he's in demand!

Jessie still has her sock fetish...

And still demands her tummy rubs then passes out with her legs in the air...(say no more)

And Benjy is very protective over Master C. Always comes to check what we're doing to him when Cameron lets out a wail or raises his voice.

Here he keeps an eye on bathtime proceedings.
