Jamie Neale Pic: Seven News

And then it was wonderful to hear that they had found him coz, it had been such a long time to survive the elements especially since it had been so cold during this time.
And, wouldn't you know it, clearly my partner (as they say in Australia - partner. Not husband. But partner. Altho' I still say husband. But anyway...) He, him. That person who is NEVER cold no matter what the weather would survive in the wilderness because he has the same dicky thermostat that Jamie Neale has.

Even days after Mr Neale had gone missing in the mountains, his father Richard Cass confidently said it wasn't the weather that would harm his son, more likely a cliff fall.
"He's very tolerant of cold and, if anybody can
survive this, he will," Mr Cass said last week.
Former teachers remembered a student who experienced winter differently from everyone else.
"On cold days in the winter, he would be wearing a T-shirt and we would all be in gloves and coats and he would say he was really hot," former teacher Iraj Felfeli told The Times.
"The first thing we all thought when we heard he was lost and it was
freezing conditions is that 'he will be fine in the cold'."
Dr Gordian Fulde, director of the emergency department at Sydney Vincent's Hospital, said Mr Neale's tolerance of the cold was the result of his genetic make-up.
"There are people who can modify their metabolism so that they can generate the heat they need,'' he said.
"It's just genetics. When it's cold his body has learnt
to shut down the supply of blood to the skin [thus retaining heat in the centre
of the body and keeping bloody supply to vital organs].
"The problem is when it gets to moderate temperatures he's probably feeling very hot - you can't have it both ways.''
OH, Dr Fulde, that we know my friend. Have it both ways, you certainly cannot.
Case in point, see pic below of hail we had this evening and then see pic of "My Partner" taken outside shortly after the downpour.
